West Seattle and local libraries host community events

Various community and cultural events are scheduled across West Seattle and several neighborhood libraries.

In West Seattle, Easy Street Records is hosting a vinyl take-back event for damaged or unplayable records to support recycling efforts. Other local activities include auditions for the West Seattle Community Orchestra, a linocut youth workshop, and a performance of ‘THE CHINESE LADY’ at ArtsWest.

Multiple neighborhood libraries are hosting diverse programming, including international film series, toddler story times, and mixed media workshops. Locations for these programs include the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, Anacostia, and Northwest One, among others.
