Community events scheduled in Bellaria Igea Marina and Pisa

Bellaria Igea Marina will host the third annual Ottobrefest from October 23 to 25. Organized by the Igea City association, the Bavarian-style beer festival aims to revitalize the town during the off-season. The event features music, food, and more than 100 volunteers, following a previous edition that saw the consumption of over 6,000 liters of beer.

In San Giuliano Terme, the sixth edition of TEDxPisa is scheduled for October 25 at Pala Todisco. Under the theme ‘Roots-Routes: radici che resistono, rotte che liberano’, the event will feature nine guests delivering seven presentations on topics including education, nature, and social identity. The program includes workshops on environmental connection, vision boarding, and craft beer tasting. Organizers have emphasized accessibility, providing gender-neutral facilities, a quiet room, and Italian Sign Language interpretation.
