Community events scheduled in Caraguatatuba and Guaíra

Various community events are scheduled for Sunday, August 16, in Brazil. In Caraguatatuba, the second edition of the Catcher Car Run will take place at Porto Novo Square. The event features a unique racing format on a 3.5-kilometer oval circuit where participants run until they are caught by a pursuing car. The program includes a main race starting at 6:00 AM and a kids' race at 8:30 AM, with awards for various categories, including age groups and athletes with disabilities.

In Guaíra, the 2nd Antique Car Meeting will be held at the Centro Náutico e Recreativo Marinas along the shores of Lake Itaipu. Running from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, the event will host collectors and clubs from across Brazil and neighboring countries. The gathering aims to promote automotive heritage and local tourism while serving a philanthropic purpose through the collection of non-perishable food items for municipal social projects.
