Community events scheduled in El Marqués and Nuevo Laredo

The municipality of El Marqués will host a service day and the “Vive en Familia” program on Saturday, October 24, at the Villas La Piedad recreational park. Starting at 09:00, the event will offer free medical consultations, vaccinations (including tetanus, hepatitis B, measles, rubella, pneumococcus, and influenza), psychological support, and medication distribution. Veterinary services will also be available, featuring free sterilizations for dogs and cats, as well as various vaccinations and deworming. Additionally, the municipal security and civil protection departments will showcase emergency response units, while families can enjoy inflatable games, traditional activities, and professional wrestling.

In Nuevo Laredo, the San Antonio María Claret Parish is organizing a children's kermés for Sunday, October 25. The event begins at 09:30 with food stalls offering local snacks and drinks. Activities for children include bouncy houses, lottery games, and fair games. The program includes a Holy Mass at 11:30, followed by a free children's clown show at 12:30. The parish aims to promote community bonding through these religious and recreational activities.
