Community events scheduled in Erkrath and Baunatal

Various community activities are scheduled for November in Erkrath and Baunatal. In Erkrath, the „Runter vom Sofa“ series at the Hochdahl municipal library offers weekly Thursday sessions. The November schedule includes a games afternoon on November 5, memory training exercises on November 12, a reading session focused on humorous texts on November 19, and a discussion regarding the history and impact of sugar on November 26.

In Baunatal-Guntershausen, Dr. Klaus-Peter Lorenz is hosting a series of public reading sessions at the Marie-Behre-Haus on Monday mornings. The series begins on November 2 with a presentation titled „Kleines Dorf mit großem Bahnhof,“ which explores the history of the local station through large-format historical photographs. Subsequent sessions include stories about autumn and Martinmas on November 9, and reflections on childhood in the 1940s and 1950s on November 16.
