Community events scheduled in Higashimatsuyama and Minowa Town

Various community events are scheduled to take place in Japan. The ‘HAND IN HAND MARKET’ will be held at Pioni Walk Higashimatsuyama on August 29 and 30, 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00. The event features handmade works from various creators and workshops for children. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to environmental protection and children's foster care facilities. Additionally, the market will collect plastic bottle caps to fund vaccines for children in developing countries.

In Minowa Town, the ‘Minowa Kodomo Festa 2026’ is set for September 6, 2026, at the Minowa Town Cultural Center and Regional Exchange Center. Running from 9:30 to 14:00, the event includes 21 booths offering sports, crafts, and flea markets. Activities include slacklining, photography experiences, and new workshops such as making recycled keychains and fabric charms. The event aims to foster curiosity and social bonds through hands-on experiences and is free to enter.
