Community events scheduled in Montemor-o-Novo and Vila Franca de Xira

Various community and educational activities are scheduled in Portugal. In Montemor-o-Novo, the MIMOMU workshops, led by Rita Roberto, will offer music and movement sessions for babies aged 12 months and older, accompanied by adults. These sessions are scheduled for November 11 and 28, and December 9 and 19.

Additionally, Montemor-o-Novo will host its 22nd Soup Festival from November 6 to 8 at the Pavilhão de Exposições. The event features 12 restaurants offering 40 different soups, including traditional and competitive recipes.

In Vila Franca de Xira, the Hospital da Bonecada event will take place at the Pavilhão Multiusos. Organized by the NOVA Medical School Students' Association with support from the Vila Franca de Xira Municipality, the initiative allows children aged 3 to 10 to simulate hospital check-ups on their dolls and stuffed animals. The goal is to reduce fear of hospital environments through play, featuring activities such as triage simulations, general consultations, and pedagogical workshops.
