Community events scheduled in Rio de Janeiro for Sunday

Various community events are scheduled for Sunday, September 20, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. In Niterói, the Niterói Bike Fest will take place at Caminho Niemeyer, focusing on sustainable mobility and leisure. A highlight of the event is the traditional Pedal for World Car Free Day, which is recognized as the oldest cycling tour still in operation in Brazil.

The festival, organized by the Associação de Ciclistas do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (ACERJ) with support from the Niterói City Hall, will include music, raffles, and bicycle repair services.

In Nova Iguaçu, Shopping Nova Iguaçu will host an automotive gathering organized by Rio Baixos. The event expects to showcase between 100 and 150 modified, lowered, and classic vehicles. Admission to the car show is tied to a social initiative, requiring a donation of 1 kg of non-perishable food for local charities.
