Romania and Moldova host autumn fairs and cultural festivals

Various regional fairs and cultural festivals are taking place across Romania and Moldova this autumn, highlighting local gastronomy, traditional crafts, and heritage.

In Romania, Craiova is hosting the Treasures of the East festival, showcasing EU-protected products such as Sibiu salami and Teaca cheese, while also launching the ‘Produced in Oltenia’ regional identity. Other notable events include the ‘Rod cu Spor’ fair at the Golești Museum in Argeș, featuring over 100 local producers, and the MulticulTIM festival in Timișoara, which celebrates ethnic diversity through traditional costume parades. Bucharest is also hosting several specialized events, including Romanian Jewelry Week and the Pumpkin Fair.

In Moldova, Chișinău is hosting multiple markets to coincide with the National Wine Day. These include fairs for seasonal fruits, honey, and artisanal goods located in the city center and various parks. These events aim to connect local producers directly with consumers and celebrate the country's viticultural traditions.
