Community festivals and local events scheduled across the Netherlands

Various cultural and community events are scheduled across the Netherlands. In Roelofarendsveen, the Veense Feestweek begins on Friday, featuring a variety of activities including a flower parade (Bloemencorso), a senior party, a marathon, and various sports and music events.

In Gelderland, several activities are taking place this weekend. Football club De Graafschap is hosting an open day at De Vijverberg stadium in Doetinchem, including player and coach presentations. In Lichtenvoorde, a flower parade is scheduled, while Pannerden will host the official reopening of its renovated shooters' building. Additionally, a musical performance regarding the story of Mary Magdalene will be held in Scherpenzeel, and an Oktoberfest-themed event is planned in Loil.
