Community festivals announced in Concepción del Uruguay and Paracuellos de Jarama

Concepción del Uruguay is preparing for the second edition of the ‘Quema del Muñeco’ as part of the Estudiantina 2026 celebrations. Scheduled for Sunday, September 27, at Parque La Salamanca, the event features a nearly nine-meter structure built with the participation of local students and organizations, including the comparsa Unidos Do Bahía. The initiative, organized by the Municipal Youth Council, aims to foster community engagement and establish a new local tradition.

In Paracuellos de Jarama, the IX Feria de Asociaciones will take place on Sunday, September 20, at the municipal sports center. The fair will host over 25 local collectives covering culture, sports, health, and inclusion. The event includes various activities such as cycling gymkhanas, badminton, taekwondo masterclasses, and musical performances, providing residents an opportunity to engage directly with local community groups.
