Community festivals held in Angoulême and Flers

Various community events took place in France during mid-September 2026. In Angoulême, thousands of spectators gathered for the second edition of a soapbox race. Approximately forty unconventional vehicles, including a decorated minibus and a fire truck, competed in the city center.

In Flers, the Melody Run drew over 1,000 participants for a musical running event. The race offered multiple distances ranging from 1.5 km to 15 km, featuring live musical performances along the route to encourage runners.
