Community festivals held in North Carolina and South Carolina
Various community festivals are being held in the Southeastern United States, featuring local vendors, classic car shows, and cultural celebrations.
In Four Oaks, North Carolina, the 37th Annual Four Oaks Acorn Festival and Autofest recently took place. The event included 66 vendors, food trucks, and a children's zone. The Autofest portion awarded several classic vehicles, with Phil Falconer receiving Best in Show for a 1969 Ford Bronco. The festival also introduced a new health fair hosted by the Four Oaks Chamber Foundation.
In Fountain Inn, South Carolina, the 43rd Annual Aunt Het Fall Festival celebrates the legacy of Robert Quillen, a journalist and humorist who created the syndicated “Aunt Het” cartoon character in the 1920s. The festival features artisan booths, a classic car cruise-in, and live entertainment to honor Quillen’s literary history and the town's community spirit.
