Community festivals held in Weyher and Eppelborn

Local community celebrations are taking place in Germany, including a traditional wine festival in Weyher and a kirmes in Wiesbach, Eppelborn.

The Weyher wine festival, scheduled for September 11 to 14, 2026, will offer enhanced public transportation options to assist visitors. Additional hourly bus services on line 500 will run between Edenkoben, Rhodt, and Weyher to reduce parking congestion. Travelers can also connect to regional trains via Edenkoben to reach the event.

In Wiesbach, the traditional Kirmes was recently held at Outreau-Platz. The event featured a ceremonial barrel tapping by State Secretary Sebastian Thul and local official Stefan Löw. The festivities included live music from the Harmonie Wiesbach music association, various carnival rides such as carousels and an autoscooter, and community gatherings.
