Community fitness challenge supports childhood cancer charity

The Clark family from Cooranbong is organizing a community fundraising event to support the children's cancer charity Camp Quality. The initiative, titled the ‘Calories for Camp Quality Challenge’, will take place at Uprise Health and Fitness gym in Cardiff.

Participants will compete in a 140-minute exercise challenge to see which teams can burn the most calories. The event is inspired by the journey of three-year-old Lola Clark, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in January 2025.

Lola has undergone extensive treatment, including chemotherapy and surgeries, while facing complications such as veno-occlusive disease. Her family has received support from friends, family, and Camp Quality, which has provided respite through trips and holidays.
