Community groups in Poland undergo first aid training

Various community groups in Poland are participating in first aid training initiatives to improve emergency response capabilities.

In the Wielkopolska region, members of rural women's circles (KGW) from the Kobylin municipality attended practical training in Liskowo as part of the ‘KGW na Ratunek!’ initiative. The program, proposed by Vice-Marshal Krzysztof Grabowski, focused on cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the use of automated external defibrillators (AED), wound management, and choking response. The training also covered food security and mental health.

In Warsaw, youth from the Ursus district participated in first aid workshops at the DK Kolorowa Cultural Center. This training is part of a broader project to develop social competencies for the Ursus District Youth Council, funded by the Mazowieckie Voivodeship under the ‘Mazowsze dla Młodzieży 2026’ initiative. The program aims to prepare young leaders for active social and political participation through both technical skills and soft skill development.
