Community groups in South Korea donate safety and welfare supplies
Local community organizations in South Korea have conducted various charitable donations to support resident safety and welfare.
In Goyang, the Goyang Environmental Energy Facility Resident Support Association donated 4,000 fire evacuation masks, valued at approximately 18 million won, to the Heindol Social Welfare Center. These masks are intended to help residents, particularly the elderly and vulnerable populations, reduce smoke and toxic gas inhalation during fire emergencies.
In Anyang, the Anyang Haenam Hometown Association donated 100 bags of rice (10kg each) and two large air purifiers, totaling 6.6 million won. The rice will be distributed to 100 low-income households, while the air purifiers are designated for the Buheung Social Welfare Center. Additionally, the association hosted a luncheon for 180 registered disabled persons and facility users.
