Grado hosts walking leader training for health initiative
The Azienda Sanitaria Universitaria Giuliano Isontina (ASUGI), in collaboration with the Municipality of Grado and several regional health and pharmacy organizations, is organizing a theoretical and practical training session for walking group leaders, known as ‘Walking Leaders’.
The event will take place on October 29 at the ‘Biagio Marin’ Auditorium in Grado. It is part of the ‘FVG IN MOVIMENTO. 10mila passi di Salute’ project (2019–2026), a regional initiative supported by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region that involves 138 municipalities and 130 walking routes.
The program aims to promote physical activity, social interaction, and healthy lifestyles through the training of volunteers and the expansion of walking groups. The session will include presentations from institutional representatives and a guided walk along the ‘CamminAmare’ route.
