Misiones Province coordinates assistance following severe storms
The provincial government of Misiones is conducting relief and assessment operations in Eldorado, 9 de Julio, and Santiago de Liniers following a severe storm on Sunday.
Local authorities, including the Regional III Police Unit and the Crisis Committee, are evaluating material damage and identifying risks to provide assistance to affected families. Preliminary reports indicate that the storm caused 12 roof collapses, damaged 25 utility poles or electrical sectors, and downed 20 trees and branches.
One individual was reported injured after becoming trapped in their home during the storm and was subsequently transported to a medical center. Emergency teams are continuing to work in the field to support residents in the most impacted areas, particularly in the western zone of Eldorado.
