Community health initiatives in Paraguay and literary congress in Argentina

In Encarnación, Paraguay, the Piro’y Care Unit, the San Antonio Ypekuru Family Health Unit, and the Catholic University ‘Nuestra Señora de la Asunción’ organized a mental health and suicide prevention day. The initiative focused on raising awareness, identifying warning signs, and strengthening support networks. Participants also had access to free health services, including Pap smears, family planning counseling, and mammography scheduling.

In Santiago del Estero, Argentina, the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Health at UNSE hosted the XXIII National Congress of Argentine Literatures. The three-day event, themed ‘Under the sign of the multiple: literatures of Argentina, languages, territories, and cultures,’ brought together researchers, writers, and students from various national universities to discuss current challenges in literary and cultural studies.
