Community health initiatives launch in Spain

The Fundació Privada de Salut del Maresme i la Selva – AVAH has opened registrations for the 9th Alzheimer’s Solidarity Walk, scheduled for November 8. The event features three different routes of 1.5, 7, and 11 kilometers to accommodate various fitness levels. Proceeds from the walk will fund support programs for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, as well as their families. The foundation provides psychological and neuropsychological care, alongside support groups for relatives.

In the Balearic Islands, the public broadcaster IB3 has signed a collaboration agreement with the Balearic Association for the Support of People Affected by Eating Disorders (ASIB-TCA). Through the corporate social responsibility program ‘Tots donam una mà’, IB3 will dedicate the month of November to raising awareness about the association’s work. The partnership aims to highlight the importance of early detection and support services for those affected by eating disorders and their families through radio, television, and digital platforms.
