Community infrastructure projects launched in Cabral and Milpa Alta

In the Dominican Republic, the Institute for the Development of the Southwest (Indesur) has announced the construction of three community recreation projects in Cabral, Barahona province. These works include a playground in the La Peñuela sector, a sports court in Nueva York Chiquito, and a community plaza in El Brisal. The initiative, coordinated with the Cabral Mayor's Office, aims to expand spaces for sports and social integration.

In Mexico City, Head of Government Clara Brugada inaugurated the ninth Utopía, named Utopía Temictili Tecómitl, in the Milpa Alta borough. Spanning over 23,000 square meters with an investment of 190 million pesos, the facility offers free services in culture, health, sports, and care. The infrastructure includes a semi-olympic pool, a football pitch, a running track, and an auditorium, designed to provide equitable access to services for indigenous communities and surrounding areas.
