Community initiatives and cultural traditions emerge in Jepara and Jember

In Jepara, the Suka Tumbuh community has established a free reading stall near the Tugu Macan area in Welahan. Founded by Aida and Salwa, the initiative aims to provide an alternative to excessive smartphone use among children and to revitalize local literacy culture. The stall offers books from personal collections and donations, allowing residents to read in an open-air setting during Sunday morning activities.

In Jember, the Ancak Agung cultural parade featured 867 participants celebrating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday and Indonesia's 81st Independence Day. The procession included various groups, such as schools and local government agencies, showcasing agricultural products and traditional foods. Jember Regent Muhammad Fawait emphasized the event as a symbol of brotherhood, tolerance, and humanitarian concern.
