Community initiatives in France support early childhood and family engagement

Various community initiatives in France are focusing on early childhood engagement and family support.

In Brignoles, the Agglomération Provence Verte is organizing the ‘Journée de la Petite Enfance’ on September 26, 2026. This free event features creative workshops, sensory paths, face painting, and shows for young children and their families. The day will also include the official presentation of the book ‘Naïs et Milo s’envolent en Provence verte,’ featuring a meeting with the author-illustrator and an exhibition of original artwork.

In the Calvados region, the association ‘Au pays des p’tits bouts’ continues to operate a dedicated space for children aged 0 to 3 in La Bigne. Established in 2006, the association provides a venue for parents, grandparents, and childminders to engage in activities such as drawing, painting, and seasonal creative workshops. The space, located in a former school, serves the Pré-Bocage sector and aims to foster social connection through shared moments between adults and children.
