Community initiatives in Italy focus on fraud prevention and public health

In Lozzo di Cadore, Belluno Questore Roberto Della Rocca led a public session focused on preventing and combating fraud. During the event, held at the municipal library, the Questore detailed common criminal methods and provided practical tools for citizens to recognize and avoid scams. He emphasized that prevention relies on information and urged residents to contact emergency services immediately if they suspect fraudulent activity.

In Porto Valtravaglia, the Italian Red Cross (Luino and Valli Committee) organized a free health prevention day at the Brighirolo school. The initiative offered citizens access to blood glucose tests, cholesterol checks, and blood pressure monitoring. Additionally, volunteer doctors provided specialized services, including electrocardiograms, cardiological, postural, and dental examinations. The event was supported by several local municipalities and the Valli del Verbano Mountain Community.
