Community initiatives in Vietnam provide scholarships and education to children

Various community organizations in Vietnam have launched initiatives to support children through education and skill-building.

Caritas Huế visited Thạch Hãn Parish to provide lessons on internet safety and environmental protection. During the session, children discussed the impacts of social media and participated in educational quizzes. The program also included the distribution of ‘Con Duong Sang Viet Nam’ scholarships to assist students in their studies.

In a separate initiative, the WildAct center collaborated with Chư Yang Sin National Park to host the ‘Mam Non cua Rung 2026’ scholarship ceremony. This program supports the children of forest protection officers and patrol forces facing difficult circumstances. This year, 37 scholarships valued at 5 million VND each were awarded to cover essential needs such as school uniforms, learning tools, and healthcare.
