Community initiatives launched in Atripalda and Torre del Greco

In Atripalda, the Consorzio dei Servizi Sociali Ambito A5 and the Associazione Gambiani di Avellino are organizing an event titled “Tutti figli di questa Terra – Comunità plurali, diritti e partecipazione.” Scheduled for October 30 at the Atripalda municipal library, the meeting aims to promote intercultural dialogue and community participation. The initiative highlights the role of sport in social integration, citing the Atletico Clandestino football team as a model for combating discrimination through local collaboration.

In Torre del Greco, the municipal administration has joined the eleventh edition of the national “Io leggo perché” campaign. Between November 7 and 16, the city will implement a program where for every book purchased by students at participating local bookstores, the municipality will donate a second book chosen by the student to local schools. The initiative, supported by a 10,000 euro budget allocation, involves several local bookstores including Alfabeta Bookstore, Digital Group, Le meraviglie di Alice, Controcorrente, Duemme, and Tuttoscuola.
