Community initiatives launched in Caltanissetta

Various cultural and social projects have been introduced in Caltanissetta, Italy. Author Sergio Buttigè presented his book, “Abbassa la voce…”, at the Scarabelli Library. The event focused on the themes of poetry, listening, and the power of words to foster connection through readings and musical accompaniment.

In a separate social initiative, the cooperatives ConSenso and Borgo Blu have launched “Vùci,” a project designed to promote the inclusion and professional growth of individuals with disabilities. The project, whose name means “voice” in Sicilian dialect, aims to provide recognition to untapped talents. The first initiative under this name is a solidarity Christmas box featuring artisanal pasta, tomato sauce, and almond cookies produced through the cooperatives' vocational training programs.
