Community initiatives promote child welfare and nutrition in Paraguay and Mexico

In Encarnación, Paraguay, more than 500 parents donated toys to children in the Carita Feliz program. The donations were collected through a traditional tricycle race organized by Eduardo Florentín, an initiative that has operated for 13 years. The event included a snack for the children and was supported by the message of Mayor-elect Sebastián Remesowski, who emphasized the importance of providing nutrition, education, and care to keep children away from addictions.

In Frontera, Mexico, the Ricardo Flores Magón primary school hosted a Color Run event at the Ejido 8 de Enero to promote healthy eating and child nutrition. Held in observance of World Food Day, the activity involved students, teachers, and municipal authorities, including Mayor Sara Irma Pérez Cantú. The initiative aimed to educate children on balanced diets and disease prevention through physical activity and nutritional demonstrations.
