Community Kubb and Petanque Tournaments Held in Belgium and Netherlands

On Sunday 26 July, the Thirsty Toucan Kubb Tournament took place in Beveren, Belgium, at Park Cortewalle. Organized by Kubbezen Melsele together with Hotel Van der Valk Beveren and local sports services, the event welcomed players of all ages and skill levels for a day of the Viking‑style lawn game.

In Hattem, Netherlands, the Tinneplein hosted a three‑day petanque week that featured regular league play and the Bultmancup competition. Participants competed for top spots, with Jan Heideveld, Gerard van der Werf and Peter Wolven among the winners, while the event emphasized social interaction alongside the sport.
