Community memorial events held in Desio and Terni

In Desio, the “Un sorriso per John e Mario” event is scheduled for September 27 to support pancreatic cancer research. The initiative honors the memory of Mario Sala and John Formenti through activities including a Scala 40 tournament, ping pong, and karaoke. All proceeds will be donated to the Associazione Italiana Studio Pancreas (Aisp). Additionally, the fourth edition of the Memorial Mario Sala “Camminata delle Città” will take place in Cesano Maderno, following previous efforts that have raised over 100,000 euros for research.

In Terni, a memorial gathering was held at the ‘Il Drago’ club to honor the late Spartaco Franconi one year after his passing. Franconi, a respected antiquarian, is being remembered through the ‘Progetto Giano Spartaco Franconi’. This initiative aims to foster culture, research, and innovation, bridging the past and the future in alignment with his interest in renewable energy and entrepreneurship.
