Community musical events scheduled in Perleberg and Pirmasens

Various musical events are scheduled for December 2026 in Germany. In Perleberg, the EFFI leisure center will host a community Christmas sing-along on December 11. The event, which features the Rolandschule choir, invites families and music enthusiasts to sing traditional and modern holiday songs in an outdoor setting. Organizers will provide free lyric sheets, refreshments such as waffles and punch, and a visit from Santa Claus.

In Pirmasens, the Solina Ensemble will perform a candlelight cello concert on December 3 at the Forum Alte Post. Cellists Katrin Banhierl and Christina Elsner will perform a repertoire ranging from classical works by Corelli and Grieg to pop and rock covers like Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’. The performance includes a humorous Christmas story and may feature additional instruments such as piano or saxophone.
