Community organizations host summer holiday programs for children in Germany

Various community organizations in Germany hosted summer holiday programs for children during the recent school break.

In Pommelsbrunn, SC Pommelsbrunn organized a three-day football camp for 45 children. The event focused on teamwork and skill development through diverse training sessions and games, supported by a dedicated coaching team and local catering services. The club emphasized the importance of volunteerism in making such sporting experiences possible.

In Jüchen, the Förder- und Freundeskreis St. Martinus Bedburdyck held a themed holiday leisure activity titled ‘Tierisch was los in Bebber!’. The program, which attracted 45 participants, centered on animal-themed crafts such as felting, clay work, and making sock animals. The event utilized the Karl-Justen-Halle and included outdoor activities like paper boat racing.
