Community organizations in Berisso and La Plata announce local activities

Various community organizations in the Berisso and La Plata regions have announced upcoming social and educational activities.

The Centro de la tercera edad Pétalos de Rosas de Abril in Berisso will host its monthly buffet and raffle event on Saturday, August 15, starting at 12:00 PM. Entry fees are set at $5,000 for members and $7,000 for non-members, with attendees required to bring their own tableware.

In La Plata, the Centro de Jubilados y Pensionados de la Ingeniería is expanding its programming. The center is seeking new voices for its choir, welcoming participants regardless of prior experience. Additionally, the center will offer courses in memory stimulation and basic mobile telephony throughout August.

Other local initiatives include a cultural trip to the Montserrat neighborhood organized by Peña de las Bellas Artes and Children's Day celebrations hosted by various clubs in Arturo Seguí and Los Hornos.
