Community outdoor events and trekking initiatives organized in Italy

Various community-focused outdoor initiatives have been organized across Italy. In the province of Lodi, the Odv Alta Valle dell’Esino concluded its 2026 Summer Camp for youth from the Oratorio San Giovanni Bosco of Salerano sul Lambro. The four-day program included hiking, orienteering, and environmental education sessions led by the Carabinieri Forestali di Matelica, focusing on nature respect and forest fire prevention.

In the Marsica region, Endas Marsica APS, in collaboration with Rifugio La Guardia, has announced ‘Trekking alla Guardia’. Scheduled for September 5, this non-competitive event offers a panoramic loop route starting from Rifugio La Guardia in Lecce Nei Marsi. The initiative aims to promote amateur sports and social interaction within a natural setting, catering to families and outdoor enthusiasts.
