Community Outreach Center hosts first back-to-school giveaway in Monsey

The Community Outreach Center (COC) held its inaugural Back-to-School Supply Giveaway in Monsey, Rockland County. The event saw thousands of families gather to receive bags filled with brand-name school supplies, including items from Crayola, BIC, and Elmer’s.

Organized under the direction of Executive Director Rabbi Hersh Horowitz and supported by Assemblyman Aron Wieder, the initiative was funded through a grant secured by Wieder. Local officials, including Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh and Ramapo Town Supervisor Michael Specht, participated in the distribution. In addition to the community event, supplies will be provided to students in need within public schools across the 97th Assembly District.
