Arena Rodeo Santa Elena to host family rodeo event in Ciudad Juárez

The Arena Rodeo Santa Elena in Ciudad Juárez will host a family-oriented event on Saturday, September 26. Starting at 5:00 p.m., the program features various rodeo competitions, including bull riding, single and double lassoing, goat tying, and barrel racing.

Participants and riders are expected from several regions, including Villa Ahumada, Samalayuca, Valle de Juárez, Chihuahua, Delicias, and Casas Grandes. The event also includes opportunities for women and minors to participate in different disciplines.

In addition to the competitions, the gathering will feature music, dancing, food sales, and western goods. The evening will conclude with a dance performed by Los Dos Amigos and Armando Luna y su Banda. Local economic development officials noted that such activities help preserve traditions while boosting local tourism, commerce, and services.
