Community races held in Argentina and Mexico

In El Jumeal, Argentina, the 24th edition of the “El Jumeal Corre por los Niños” charity race was held. Organized by Lidia Agüero alongside the Escuela de Atletismo Los Mayuatos and Fortaleza Corre, the event brought together families and athletes for a community cause. In the long-distance categories, Ramiro Saravia took first place in the men's division, while Angélica del Valle won the women's division. In the short-distance categories, Ramiro Romero Ovejero and Victoria López secured first place in the men's and women's divisions, respectively.

In Mexico, the Mixteca poblana region is preparing to receive the 2026 Antorcha Guadalupana race. Marking its 24th year, the event involves several municipalities, including Chinantla, Piaxtla, Tecomatlán, and Tulcingo de Valle, which are coordinating logistics such as medical assistance, food, and security. The procession travels through various Mexican states with a final destination in New York, USA.
