Community reading and creative workshops scheduled in Switzerland and Germany

Various community events focused on literacy and creativity are being organized in Binningen, Ettingen, and Kamp-Lintfort.

In Switzerland, Binningen will host a workshop for parents of young children on November 17 to discuss supporting language development through reading. Additionally, a magic-themed baking afternoon for children aged 7 to 12, led by magician Dario Scuto, is scheduled for November 21 in Binningen. In Ettingen, a creative workshop for children up to age 9 will take place on November 7, focusing on building objects from cardboard.

In Kamp-Lintfort, Germany, the Mediathek and LesART e. V. are organizing a reading day for third-grade students. Local figures, including Mayor Christoph Landscheidt and various community leaders, will read to students at various locations such as the town hall, the police station, and the local fire station to connect literacy with real-world experiences.
