Community recognition for mediator and hospital staff solidarity in Germany

In Gladbeck, Rainer Stobbe has been honored for 25 years of service as a mediator (Schiedsmann). During the 75th anniversary celebration of the Gelsenkirchen district association of the Bund Deutscher Schiedsmänner und Schiedsfrauen (BDS), Stobbe received the silver Treuenadel and a special pin for distinguished service. Stobbe has served the Gladbeck-Zweckel and Rentfort districts since 2002.

In Lauterbach, staff and the works council at Eichhof Hospital raised 15,000 euros for a colleague who lost her home and belongings in a major fire at the Lauterbach marketplace. The donation drive, initiated by nursing management, received significant support from both hospital employees and the local community to assist the affected staff member.
