Community recreation and dance programs offered in Marília and Santo André
Various municipalities in Brazil are offering free community activities and recreational programs.
In Marília, the Galera Flashback group has opened a new class for beginners in flashback dance. These sessions, aimed at combining physical activity with social interaction, are held at the Associação dos Servidores Públicos Municipais de Marília on Thursdays. Additionally, the Marília Municipal Secretariat of Sports, Leisure, and Youth (Selj) provides flashback dance classes at two municipal hubs: Cemesc in the south zone on Wednesdays and the Neusa Galetti Sports Gymnasium on Tuesdays.
In Santo André, the Mais Lazer program is hosting free recreational activities in the Jardim Alzira Franco and Vila Clarice neighborhoods during the final Saturdays of August. The itinerant event includes inflatable toys, mini sports courts, and games. Furthermore, the city is hosting the traditional Domingo no Paço on the last two Sundays of the month at the Paço Municipal parking lot, offering various games and activities for the public.
