Community running events scheduled in Temuco and Lleida

Various community and university running events are scheduled in Temuco and Lleida.

In Temuco, the VIII Corrida Nerudiana will take place on Saturday, October 3. Organized by Liceo Pablo Neruda, the event has reached its capacity of 1,000 participants. The race offers distances of 2.5K, 5K, and 10K, with the longest route passing through Cerro Ñielol. This edition features a partnership with Fundación Facundo to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention under the slogan ‘Tu Vida También Importa’.

In Lleida, the second edition of the Cursa de la UdL is set for Sunday, October 25. The 5-kilometer race will connect the university's Agrònoms and Cappont campuses, passing through major streets in the city. The event includes both competitive and popular walking modes, open to both the university community and the general public.
