Community service initiatives expand in Pawłowice and Polish retail centers

In Pawłowice, the local Social Assistance Center is preparing to transform into a Social Services Center (CUS). This initiative, conducted in partnership with the Regional Social Policy Center of the Silesian Voivodeship, is part of the 'CUS - a new look at social services' project funded by European Funds for Silesia 2021-2027. The transition aims to expand service offerings beyond traditional social assistance to include all residents, with an increased focus on prevention, environmental actions, and services tailored to local needs.

Separately, three shopping centers—Nowa Górna, Nowe Bielawy, and Nowe Czyżyny—have opened a call for partners for the Local Social Initiative Points (PLIS) project. Managed by Greenman Poland, this corporate social responsibility initiative provides free space for non-governmental organizations and public institutions. The spaces are intended for workshops, exhibitions, educational campaigns, and charitable collections, supporting areas such as culture, health, environmental protection, and social integration.
