Community service initiatives held in Rio Verde and Manaus

Local government and media initiatives are providing essential services to residents in various Brazilian regions. In Rio Verde, the third edition of the 'Câmara Itinerante e Cidadania' took place in the Promissão neighborhood. The event offered free services including health screenings such as blood glucose and blood pressure checks, legal assistance, employment guidance, and social assistance. The initiative also featured professional training workshops, environmental awareness activities, and a local family farming market.

In Manaus, the 'A Crítica nos Bairros' project, organized by the Rede Calderaro de Comunicação, is scheduled for its fourth edition on November 7 at the Aparecida neighborhood community center. The program aims to facilitate access to rights and opportunities, with previous editions serving over 25,000 people. Confirmed services include legal guidance from the Amazonas State Public Defender's Office regarding family law and public records, as well as social assistance, employment, and health services.
