Community social initiatives in Marktoberdorf and Engelhartszell

The BRK St. Georgshof project ‘Einzigartig’ is hosting a social gathering on October 24, 2026, in Marktoberdorf, Germany. Held at the ‘Wohnzimmer’ venue, the event is designed to help individuals with mental illnesses expand their social circles in a low-pressure environment. The afternoon will feature music, food, and non-alcoholic cocktails to facilitate conversation and connection.

In Engelhartszell, Austria, the non-profit ‘IdeenReich’ is holding an open house on October 23. The creative shop showcases handmade goods, including items produced in Caritas ‘invita’ workshops such as greeting cards, figurines, and upcycled decorations. The initiative provides a platform for local creatives and individuals supported by Caritas to sell their work and engage with the community, with proceeds supporting Caritas services.
