Community social initiatives reported in Susurluk and Edirne

In Susurluk, District Governor Turgut Gülen and his wife, Meral Gülen, conducted home visits to elderly residents to check on their well-being and health. The visits included meeting 93-year-old Fatma Sağlık in Yenimahalle and 105-year-old Havva Karaca in Karşıyaka, where the couple discussed life experiences and listened to the needs of the seniors to strengthen social bonds.

Separately, Sultangazi Municipality organized a cultural trip to Edirne for individuals with disabilities and their families. Accompanied by guides, the group visited historical sites such as the Selimiye Mosque and the Lausanne Monument. Sultangazi Mayor Abdurrahman Dursun emphasized the municipality's commitment to social inclusion and supporting families through various services at the Sezai Karakoç Youth Sports and Disabled Center.
