Community social projects presented in Ariano Irpino and Satriano di Lucania

Various community-focused social projects are being presented in the Campania and Basilicata regions of Italy.

In Ariano Irpino, Cittadinanzattiva is concluding its ‘Sicuri Insieme’ project, which was funded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies. The initiative involved citizens in creating a ‘Risk Map’ to enhance local civil protection and risk awareness, particularly in a territory historically affected by earthquakes. The project aims to provide strategic proposals to the local administration to foster community resilience.

In Satriano di Lucania, the ‘Il Filo di Arianna’ project, promoted by the Adan Social Cooperative and funded by Fondazione CON IL SUD, is presenting its ongoing activities. This initiative focuses on supporting families caring for individuals with neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. The project includes training home assistants, conducting workshops, and providing socio-assistive support to reduce caregiver isolation and strengthen local care networks.
