Community solidarity events scheduled in Guglionesi and Giglio Castello

Various community events focused on solidarity and social connection are scheduled across Italy.

In Guglionesi, a social dinner will be held on August 11 at the Cinema Nuova Italia. The event aims to use traditional culinary customs to foster community reflection and support for the Palestinian people. Proceeds from the dinner, which features an open donation policy, will be donated to Gazzella Odv. Psychiatrist and activist Antonella Moschillo will participate to discuss the situation in Palestine.

In Giglio Castello, the Associazione Il Castello will host the second Gnocco festival on August 14 in Piazza Gloriosa. The evening, themed as a ‘Pink Night,’ will feature the association Insieme in Rosa to promote awareness and prevention. The event includes musical performances by the Francesco di Napoli cover band and a DJ set by Giglio's Good Times, with participants encouraged to wear pink to support the cause.
