Various community and solidarity initiatives are taking place across different Italian regions.

In Potenza, the fifth edition of the ‘Amici in Piazza’ neighborhood festival will be held on August 29 in Piazza Albino Pierro. The event, themed around volunteering, features nearly 30 participating associations, including CSV Basilicata and the Gruppo Lucano Protezione Civile. The program includes food and drink, activities for all ages, a food drive organized by Magazzini Sociali, and a roundtable discussion between institutions and local associations.

In Riccione, the Centro di Buon Vicinato ‘La Quercia dell’Arvura’ will host a ceremony on September 1 to officially present a 500 euro contribution to the social cooperative Cuore 21. These funds were raised during a summer festival held on August 6 and will support educational activities and autonomy projects for vulnerable individuals. The center continues to serve as a social hub for residents to combat loneliness through various community activities.
