Community solidarity initiatives launched in Agrigento and Lucera

Various community-led solidarity projects have been organized in Italy to support vulnerable populations.

In Agrigento, the Rotary Club, Rotaract Club, and Interact Club organized the “Il Carrello Sospeso” initiative at the Conad supermarket in the Città dei Templi shopping center. On October 31, members and citizens collected food items to be donated to the Mensa della Solidarietà in via Gioeni, which provides assistance to local individuals facing economic and social difficulties.

In Lucera, the Associazione Arcobaleno and CISOM – Gruppo Lucera completed the “Calza dei Morti” solidarity collection. Children participated in preparing and packaging stockings to be delivered to the Caritas Center in Lucera. These items are intended for children from families experiencing financial hardship, aiming to promote values of altruism and sharing within the community.
